LEGACY:

• Founded by Dr. Juanita Pitts, M.D in 1963.  She, along with other community members, saw a need to provide quality day care services for children of working mothers, in an environment emphasizing diverse learning experiences and preparations for school.

​

• The Center's current location at 170 Troup Street was built through gifts given in memory of Helen Murray Fish by her family, friends, and admirers.

The Community Child Care Center is a unique and creative program for children ages 12 months to 12 years. We promote positive educational, social, emotional, and physical growth and development for all children in our care.  We are a licensed and NAEYC accredited facility that offers enriched programming which include the following: 

• RSCD Early & Universal Pre-K Classes

• Before & After School Care

• Field Trips

• Summer Camp for School-age Children

• Breakfast, Hot Lunch, Snacks

• Nurse services

• Lots of Love & Fun!!
